2019年1月に電通が公表した調査によれば、日本におけるLGBT人口は8.9%。この比率を単純に当てはめると、学校のクラスに3、4人の割合でLGBTの子どもがいることになります。

多感で傷つきやすい思春期を過ごす学校生活において、彼ら性的マイノリティを含めた真にインクルーシブな環境をつくるために、教師ができることとは何か。そして、教員養成大学において、学生が学んでおくべきこととは何なのでしょうか。

本特集では、レズビアンであることを公表し教育機関等で多様な性に関する講師活動を精力的に行なっている元養護教諭の井上鈴佳氏をお招きし、現職養護教諭である二人の大学院生を交えて、座談会を開催しました。

According to a survey published by Dentsu in January 2019, the LGBT population in Japan is 8.9%. A simple application of this ratio would mean that there are 3 or 4 LGBT children in a school class.

What can teachers do to create a truly inclusive environment that includes those sexual minorities in school life where adolescents are sensitive and vulnerable? And what should students learn at teacher training colleges?

In this special feature, we invite Ms. Suzuka Inoue, a former school nurse who has announced that she is a lesbian and is actively engaged in teaching activities related to diversity at educational institutions, etc., and two graduate students who are current school nurses. A round-table discussion was held with
